More About me
Molly served as the lead author of the 25th-anniversary report for the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics in 2015, titled: A National Education Blueprint: Investing in Hispanics to Fulfill America's Future. She is also an alumna of the Hispanic Scholarship Foundation, the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE) Graduate Student Fellows Program, and the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Division J Emerging Scholars Program focused on advancing critical post-secondary scholarship. Molly's professional experiences span the areas of academic advising, program development/assessment, first-generation student support programs, retention initiatives, and academic support services.
Molly arrived at IUPUI in January 2017 as the Program Manager of the LiFT Scholars Program, a $4 million NSF-grant funded program through the IU School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI and Ivy Tech Community College, a scholarship and support program for students who demonstrate financial need and aspire to a career in information technology. In January 2020, Molly began as the Director of Multicultural Academic Affairs in the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and looks forward to supporting and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across IUPUI's campus through this position. Molly is a proud Latina, first-generation college student and native Californian who is committed to serving underrepresented and underserved faculty, staff, and students as a scholar-practitioner.
