Cesar Chávez Celebration Dinner

March 25, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Campus Center, Room 450 (420 University Blvd.)

Many who identify as Latin@/x revere Cesar Chávez as a true hero and advocate for historically marginalized populations, especially when it comes to the labor movement. César Chávez’ commitment to justice and human dignity has led to equal rights for migrant workers and still inspires the Latin@/x community today. Since 2008, IUPUI faculty, students, and staff have celebrated the life and work of César Chávez. The César Chávez Dinner provides an opportunity to support those who aspire to be leaders for the Latin@/x community and to recognize those doing amazing work at IUPUI and in broader community.

The IUPUI Latino Student Association (LSA) is hosting the 14th Annual César Chávez Dinner and your attendance will be an essential part of this year’s success. We cordially invite you to join us for an evening of cultural awareness and networking with organizations and individuals involved in the Latin@/x community. This year’s dinner will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 6p.m. in the Campus Center, Room 450 (420 University Blvd.) Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m.
