Albert Chanthaboury serves as the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Service Coordinator at IUPUI where he will support various student organizations and develop programs to address the stigmas, stereotypes, and common barriers that the AAPI community experiences at IUPUI. He plans to continue his efforts to empower and develop the AAPI students at the institution using multiple platforms to engage in their success. Albert is committed to not only being an activist and voice for the AAPI community but rather a pinnacle focal point for resources and support systems at IUPUI.

Leading to this role, Albert was born and raised in Chicago, IL and a proud POSSE Scholar, Cohort 9. He also holds a double bachelor degree in International Studies, Chinese, and a certificate in Asian American Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his M.A. in Higher Education from Northeastern Illinois University. Albert also contributes a tremendous amount of time within his fraternity and involvement with MAASU which continue to inspire him for his continued work.
