Opportunity to Dream Scholarship

The Opportunity to Dream Scholarship was developed to support scholarships for students on the IUPUI campus who have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Services. Students must meet other specific requirements to receive funding.

The Opportunity to Dream Scholarship was created in 2018 to help address the financial needs of various IUPUI students. Because, as part of its mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration is be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences. Preference is given to students who do not qualify for federal or state-based financial aid because of their citizenship status, such as undocumented and/or specially documented students, refugees, and/or students who have been granted political asylum.

Given that cost of attendance is as follows, there is a substantial amount of unmet need for this group of students who do not qualify for state or federal aid.
