There are many sources of information about college students with disabilities and the role of universities in ensuring that students are provided with equal access to higher education. The following are a few resources that will assist students, faculty and staff interested in learning more. The latest federal legislation ADAAA (the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008) does not take effect until January of 2009 and so there is little other but a restatement of the provisions in the legislation and it may be at least a year or two before court action goes beyond the terms of ADAAA.
