Social Justice Symposium

The Social Justice Symposium, occurring the first weekend in April, is a free day-long conference for faculty, staff, students and community members to exchange knowledge about social justice issues through workshops, speakers, and dialogues. Created by the Coordinator for Social Justice Education at IUPUI and the Social Justice Scholars, this event focuses on student lead community building.

In 2 years, the Social Justice Symposium has grown to a program with almost 300 registered attendees and 20 presentations or workshops offered by IUPUI students, faculty, staff and greater Indianapolis community members.
