Critical Conversations

Suffrage, Voting Rights and Elections:
Safeguarding Democracy

Wednesday, March 4, 2020, Noon – 1:15 p.m.,IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law
Wynne Courtroom (Room IH 100)

In commemoration of the Centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment grantingwomen the right to vote, this program looks at the critical importance of the expansion of voting rights and fair and free elections in sustaining a democracy.

Dan Griffith, Director of Conflict Resolution and Dialogue Programs, will facilitate a very briefintroductory workshop on the topic. You are then invited to add your insights, ask questions, share your challenges, push back or offer counter viewpoints.

The point isn’t to identify a one-size-fits-all approach, but to keep talking and explore how we can have authentic conversations to enrich our relationships and support an inclusive and welcoming campus culture.

We would like to hear from you!
