Danielle Tate is the Coordinator for the Norman Brown Diversity and Leadership Scholarship Program. Danielle is a proud graduate of Central Michigan University where she obtained a B.A in Psychology and Interpersonal & Public Communication and a M.S in Speech Communication and Dramatic Arts.  Danielle has a passion for higher education andassisting students meet their academic and career goals at the postsecondary and pre-college level.  Danielle previously served as the Student Coordinator for the Twenty-first Century Scholars Program in which she formed a partnership with the Central Indiana Community Foundation that dramatically increased enrollment for two consecutive years.  Danielle is also currently an Adjunct Instructor within the Communication Department at Ivy Tech Community College.

Danielle relocated to Indianapolis six years ago from Saginaw, MI.  Danielle has a strong commitment to community service and has volunteered regularly with her church, New Era Church, IPS School #42, The 100 Black Men of Indianapolis and the Dungy Family Reading Foundation.
